Dog-Friendly at BIG4 Bendigo Marong

At BIG4 Bendigo Marong, we’re passionate about pets. Our team members are dedicated canine carers. Between us, we own two whippets, two Great Danes, two Groodles, a Cavoodle, a German Shepherd, and even a tiny teacup Chihuahua! These are our own much-loved pets, and we understand how hard it can be to leave your furry companions at home. That is why we have created a truly pet-friendly park where your dog can enjoy the holiday just as much as you do.

Out and about with your dog

Bendigo is a fantastic destination for travelling with your dog. Enjoy a walk around the Great Stupa, take a ride on the Talking Tram, or explore the many off-leash parks and open spaces throughout the region. Our team is always happy to share local tips and recommendations to help you and your dog make the most of your stay.

Friendly and well-behaved dogs

• Only sociable and well-behaved dogs are permitted
• Aggressive, noisy, or disruptive dogs may be asked to leave immediately without a refund
• Dogs must be supervised and under control at all times and should not disturb other guests

Safety and park rules

• Dogs must be on a leash no longer than 2 meters, except in the designated off-leash area
• Dogs cannot be left unattended in cabins, tents, or vans
• Owners must clean up after their dog using dispensers and bins around the park
• Dogs are not permitted in communal areas such as the pool, playground, camp kitchen, or reception

Healthy and vaccinated

• Dogs must be fully vaccinated and in good health, free from fleas, ticks, and parasites
  
• Pets must not be undergoing treatment for contagious illnesses or injuries

Pet waiver and responsibility

All dog owners must sign a pet waiver on arrival, accepting full responsibility for any injury, damage, or disturbances caused by their dog and agreeing to park management’s right to evict pets if rules are not followed
